She’s a beaut, isn’t she? Can’t you just see yourself owning this, I mean look at that color! What are you talking about? Of course you deserve it, you work hard right? Well, hey you might be surprised. Why don’t we just step into my office and see what we can make happen?

Does this make you cringe a little bit? We have all been there, uncomfortable and trying to distinguish fact from fiction and also trying to comprehend why on earth we feel some sort of attachment and obligation to this salesperson we just met?

Sales, some people love it, thrive at it and are very good at it. Every occupation has elements of sales, even if they aren’t always at the forefront or in the title. Whether you are describing a menu special, pitching a story or selling a “dream-on-four-wheels” you are as the dictionary describes it “a person employed to represent a business and to sell its merchandise.” That description is very different from the definition of a pitchman “an aggressive salesmanwho uses a fast line of talk to sell something.”

A fast line of talk will not be found at Alyshaan Fine Rugs. We have always made sure to create an atmosphere of no pressure in our showroom. Our showroom is exactly that, come on in and let us show off the beautiful carpets that we love. Alyshaan is often described and complimented because of the calmness and lack of anxiety that exists in our company. If you have read our other blogs or perused our website you already know that another unique thing about Alyshaan is that we never have a sale.

The never-having-a-sale factor is one of the elements that enables us to create that no-pressure environment because there is no rush to make a decision. Our rugs will always have their own stable, non-fluctuating price. It is not Alyshaan’s desire that you make a major decision in a hurry. The company is not about a quick buck, but rather about creating lasting relationships and sharing the beauty of our rugs with our designers and clients.

Someone once said “A smart salesperson listens to emotions not facts.” At Alyshaan we don’t believe in using the manipulation of emotions to complete a sale. We are salesmen and saleswomen but we will let the beauty, color and brightness of our rugs tug at your emotions; we will just stick with the facts, after all when you believe in your product it sells itself. Alyshaan Fine Rugs has fair “window sticker” that announce what our rugs are worth and the prices that they will be sold for, no bargaining, no haggling, very easy and simple. Because you do work hard and you do deserve an easy and stress-free shopping experience; feel free to take your time, we will be here.
